On September 12 the finished tool set arrived in the development build: felling axe, shovel, sickle, spear, sledgehammer, antler war pick, obsidian dagger, bronze axe, mallet, digging stick and more, 23 in all. Each has an icon rendered from its own model, a glove fitted to its handle and the approved swing. Tools load when equipped, show in the character’s right hand in third person, and F plays an inspect animation for whatever is held.

Six axes can also chop generated firs. Each blow’s strength comes from the axe head’s weight and the swing speed. The first blow cuts a notch, bark flakes and then pale wood chips fly, the tree creaks at 70 percent, and it falls toward the deepest cut, bouncing and leaving a stump. The trunk is measured at chopping height, so aiming higher or lower does not change how many blows it takes. In the first test a 24 cm fir fell after nine blows, exactly as the rules predicted.

This first version had clear limits. Only axes on trees actually hit anything, felling paid no wood, trees did not stay felled, and the chopping sounds were generated placeholders. Carrying all 23 tools from the start is a development convenience rather than a design decision. Two days later, felling moved onto the server.
